MobileMe for Linux: easy |
My wife needs full access to Mobileme on Linux (Mint, Ubuntu based) because of her work.
I tried User Agent switcher for Firefox, following this post - it didn't work (she couldn't upload).
I tried something similar on Chromium, following some other post - didn't work.
I tried installing Safari 5 on Linux via Wine - didn't succeed.
I tried installing Safari 4 via Wine - I was told that a "newer version is already installed"...
Finally, I looked again for the system requirements:
* Safari 3 or later (Mac / PC)
* Firefox 2 or later (Mac / PC)
Then I knew it: I installed Firefox 3 for Windows via Wine - and it worked!
I couldn't see the names of the files - but then I switched to View > Character Encoding > More Encodings > user Defined.
The names became visible.
Some parts of the file names in the folders are not showing properly - but clicking on that file reveals the full and proper name on the right bar (details).
